  • April 5, 2019
  • Commercial Landscaping

Timberline Landscaping operates on the philosophy that “all of us have a key role in ensuring a safe working environment for our employees, customers, suppliers, and the general public.”

Having a Safety and Quality Assurance Manager, Erick Stover, on staff sets Timberline apart to ensure all employees follow all state and federal regulations.  “We are proactive versus reactive by trying to prevent accidents before they happen with continuing education and training,” states Erick. He has extensive knowledge and experience in all thing’s safety.

At Timberline, the core areas of safety belong to management, supervisors, and all employees. We achieve safe operations through committee meetings, orientations, and training. These safety initiatives allow us to provide professional and productive work that results in a long-lasting landscape that is done right.

We are a long-term established contractor that is insured and licensed.

Our Current Safety Initiatives:

1. Standards of Work Training which includes:

  • Most of the service types we perform
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required to perform all tasks
  • An annual training event
  • New employee training
  • Weekly Safety Tailgates including information about certain safety initiatives

This allows us to keep all employees on the same page when it comes to safety and working as a team.

2. Training and maintaining Department of Transportation Regulations

Safety on the road is something that Timberline constantly strives for. Through this training, we keep our employees and others on the road safe.

3. Daily Morning Stretch and Flex

Our daily stretch and flex promotes individual safety and prevents injury.
