Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: I enjoy working in my yard as much as possible. I am always changing stuff, adding plants, trying new sprinkler heads, etc.
Favorite thing about the green industry: I enjoy the outdoor aspect and being able to create beautiful spaces using plants and shaping the land.
Favorite Plant: The angel oak tree in South Carolina (Quercus virginiana, Southern live oak)

Going on 21 years of experience in the Green Industry, Joshua started his career as an installation foreman. He has a B.S. in Horticulture with an emphasis in Landscape Design, an M.S in Horticulture, focusing on drought-tolerant conifers, and a Ph.D. in Horticulture from Kansas State University. He has managed and consulted for landscape companies in Kansas City and Manhattan, KS and has taught courses in horticulture for universities and community colleges. Joshua’s wife, Tara, owns a dental practice in Colorado Springs. They have 3 beautiful girls who love sports. In his spare time, Joshua enjoys the outdoors and running. He has been known to compete in ultra-marathons (50 and 100 mile foot races).

Joining the company in 2017, Craig brings over 25 years of construction and real estate development experience to the position of Chief Financial Officer for the Timberline ONE companies. Craig holds an active Colorado CPA certificate, an MBA and Master of Real Estate Development (MRED). He is responsible for the overall financial operations of the company including financial and job reporting, cash flow management and forecasting, risk management and Information Technology among other duties.
Craig and his wife, Ann, have two children and when not working enjoys Colorado’s snow skiing, mountain biking and physical fitness activities.

Stephanie graduated Magna Cum Laude from Arizona State University in 2007 with a B.F.A in Photography and is Certified in Inbound Marketing. She began her career at Timberline Landscaping in 2013 and has since transformed the brand image and content strategy. Stephanie now helps us keep a focus on strategic planning and execution for all of the Timberline ONE companies.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: I enjoy getting out in the mountains to ski or hike depending on the season.
Favorite thing about the green industry: The people you get to work alongside of and the positive impact that is made on both outdoor spaces and lives. From working in the field installing projects, to estimating and design, the overall experience of creating spaces that are intended to bring people together to enjoy life is very rewarding.
Favorite Plant: Bur Oaks; they have a beautiful structure and provide great shade on hot summer days!
Hobbies: Hiking, skiing, automotive detailing.
As an Iowa native, much of Andrew’s youth was spent water skiing on the Mississippi River, cutting firewood, and working summers on a landscape crew installing hardscape and irrigation systems. After graduating from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Finance, his landscaping career transplanted to Colorado in 2021. Outside of the office, he can be found paddle boarding, mountain biking, and exploring local restaurants and breweries.

Favorite Plant: That’s a tough one. I love trees, especially in the fall when they turn colors but I love annual flowers with lots and lots of color!

Sara’s passion for customer experience and project management have made her a true asset to our team and to her clients. She has over 13 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry working as an Account Manager and Project Manager. Sara has a passion for customer service and attention to detail in all she does.

Tom began his career in the Landscape Maintenance and Construction industry in 1985 working at the Broadmoor Resort. He has 35 years of experience in the green industry. Most of it at high altitude in Summit County, Colorado, installing and maintaining custom residential landscapes. Tom is a certified Colorado Master Gardener. He enjoys spending his free time with his two daughters, his significant other and his dog Liam.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: I enjoy vegetable gardening with my daughters caring for the plants and we enjoy fire pit for roasting marshmallows and just enjoying the evening air.

Favorite Plant: My favorite plant is the Passion Flower Vine for its religious meaning symbolizing features of the Passion.

Bernard began his career in the Landscape Maintenance and Construction industry in 2001. He has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture, is a certified Colorado Gardener, and has an extensive base of knowledge related to plant health care, maintenance and xeric design. He has managed landscape maintenance and construction companies in both California and Colorado. Bernard is married to Christin and they have three daughters.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: I love to grill/BBQ, eat outside, play games out in the yard with my family, and GARDEN. During summer months and warm days we eat outside every chance we get. Our patio is our home.
Favorite thing about the green industry: I love being able to create and maintain the same atmosphere that I love so dearly with others. Some people just don’t know the amount of happiness a nice outdoor space can bring you.
Favorite plant: Anything you can eat or drink! Like I said I love to garden and there are so many beautiful vegetables and herbs that you can still make a very aesthetically pleasing landscape. I love to get my hands in the dirt and reap the rewards!
Hobbies: Anything and everything outside! Skiing, hiking, biking, running, CAMPING, and enjoying my patio!
Jake has been in the green industry for 5 years. He’s always worked outdoors, loved planting, and strangely enough loved mowing the lawn (large pasture), so he figured what better industry to get into!

Elysa has been a designer with Timberline since 2014. She is a two time National Association of Landscape Professionals award winner for landscape design and installation. In her time here she has emerged as a leader and key player in strategic planning and training processes. In 2017 she was promoted to head of the Residential Design and Installation department. Being a designer at Timberline, Elysa has had the opportunity to work on some unique projects such as the Estate House at the Broadmoor Hotel, The US Senior Open, The Ronald McDonald House at the new Ronald McDonald Children’s Hospital in Colorado Springs. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the mountains with family and dogs.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: I love gardening with my mom. I have been working in the yard with her and my dad since I can remember. From planting the vegetable garden every year to helping her plant her annual pots. When Spring time comes I love seeing all the plants start growing and popping!
I also love to get outdoors with my dog, whether it is going to the park to throw the ball, hiking in nature or just sitting in the grass in the front yard! She is my world and if she is happy I am happy!
Favorite thing about the green industry: What I love most about working in the green industry is that everyone is in it for the same reasons. We all want to make a difference and create beauty in the landscape. I love how just the right plants in the right place can make all the difference in landscaping! In addition, I love how the green industry was dominated by males at one point…but I feel that the females are starting to make strides!

Ashley was born and raised in Colorado and grew up playing soccer, softball, and planting flowers. Her love for the outdoors led her to enjoy the tasks that many children avoid…like mowing the lawn. She credits her love for landscaping to her parents. While in high school Ashley began drafting in AutoCAD and decided to further her love for both plants and drafting by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
After graduation, she began work at a local nursery to expand her knowledge and love of plants. In January of 2015, Ashley started work within Timberline’s snow removal and maintenance departments. This experience in the field has enabled her a greater understanding of the processes involved in the care and installation of landscapes. She has completed her Landscape Industry Certified Technician designation in ornamental maintenance and softscape installation. Ashley is an award winner for the design and installation on The Broadmoor Estate House.
Paige Mager

Favorite way to enjoy your outdoor space: Most of the time that I’m not at work, I’m out rock climbing or planning a rock climbing trip with my friends.
Favorite thing about the green industry: Landscape design is amazing because it allows me a creative outlet that also forces me to think through infinite different scenarios and issues. I love problem solving and I love to be creative, so it’s absolutely perfect.
Favorite Plant: My personal favorite plant is my cape sundew, Alice, but my favorite landscaping plant is currently walker’s low catmint.
Hobbies: Rock climbing, knitting, and playing Stardew Valley
Paige grew up in upstate New York taking care of the family vegetable garden, doing triathlons, and hanging out on the lake with family and friends. She went to North Carolina State University for a degree in Horticulture and minors in Agroecology and Spanish before finally making her way to Colorado in 2024, where she joined the Timberline Landscaping Team.

Favorite thing about the green industry: My favorite aspect of the green industry is the science and biology that goes into understanding plants and the natural world.

Taylor studied forestry in college and knew it was his calling. He has been involved in the green industry as an arborist, subject matter expert in tree/shrub biology and identification, and Account Management for a total of 6 years now.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: At home I enjoy the outdoors. Spring, summer, and autumn with our horses, on the tractor, or on the deck are my favorite moments.
Favorite thing about the green industry: Helping clients restore and revitalize important trees.

Hobbies: Spending time with my wife and grown children, watching my youngest daughter barrel race, golf, and old cars.
After graduating from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs with a B.S. in Business Management, Albert worked as a Peace Corps volunteer in Costa Rica, C.A. There he managed reforestation projects and provided business practice consulting services for small land holding farmers and fishermen. Upon return to Colorado Springs he worked as an arborist for 26 years at Bob Rundo Tree Surgeon rising to President and sharing ownership duties with his wife. He joined Timberline in 2024 with an excitement to work with the arboriculture team.

John never wanted to work in an office. He fell in love with landscaping and plants when he went to Disney World for the first time and saw how manicured and beautiful it was. He has 15 years of experience in the Landscape Industry and graduated from the University of Maine in 2003 with a B.S. in Landscape Horticulture.
Tony Harding

Favorite way to enjoy your outdoor space: I like exploring new hiking trails and camping with my family while eating s’mores next to the fire pit.
Favorite thing about the green industry: I enjoy working outside and appreciate the 300 days of Colorado sunshine! I like that each day brings a new challenge to overcome, and I find joy in meeting new people while working to maintain the importance of green spaces in the community.
Favorite Plant: Live oaks
Hobbies: Coaching and playing soccer is a huge passion of mine! I have been a youth boys soccer coach for over 10 years and feel fortunate to be a part of helping kids become better people on and off the field . I look forward to rockhounding, fishing and hiking in the summer, hunting in the fall and snowboarding in the winter!
Tony Harding started on his path in the green industry after an injury halted his professional career playing for the U.S Men’s National Soccer Team. He graduated from Mississippi State with a degree in Advanced Horticulture. Tony came to Timberline Landscaping in 2020 with 21 years of experience managing residential and commercial properties. He holds an active license as a Qualified Supervisor with roles in Industrial Right Away, Turf Pest Control, Ornamental Pest Control, and Outdoor Vertebrae Control. Tony enjoys sharing his love of the outdoors with his family and stays busy with home renovation projects on the weekend.

Favorite plant: The Bristle Cone Pine tree. It amazes me that they are so durable and long-lived.

Jenn has been in the green industry for twenty years and worked in several different fields of horticulture. She has her AS degree in Urban Horticulture and has earned a certification as a Colorado Certified Nursery Professional. As a Colorado native, she is familiar with the diverse climate within our region and the importance of proper plant selection.

Abby grew up in Kansas City and moved out to the Springs in December of ’22. She started in agriculture during her second year of college, where she fell in love with horticulture and specifically golf course and sports turf. During her time in college, she was able to hone her skills in the field as an intern on a golf course in Montana, as well as a greenhouse operation in Montana. She built up her interpersonal skills as a bartender while she cheered on the KSU Cats! Since graduating, Abby has worked as a grower, growing thousands of pots and baskets but has ultimately fallen in love with the client side of the business.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: I love to spend time with my wife and playing with our two dogs. Hopefully, we’ve got the grill going!
Favorite thing about the green industry: The green industry is a combination of two of my passions: plants and people. I love to bring those two things together.
Favorite Plant: The Gingko! One of the oldest living tree species.
Hobbies: Hiking, basketball, cooking, baking, cultivating odd plants, and an occasional 5K!
Sam has been working in horticulture for the last 15 years. He started at his local plant nursery loading bags of mulch and soil at the age of 16, slowly working his way to General Manager. Just about any job you can have in a nursery – Sam’s done it! He has worked in cultivation, plant health care, run Integrated Pest Management programs, and managed retail and wholesale nurseries as well as a tree farm. He always considers himself a student and takes as many classes on the side as I can.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: Putting a good ribeye steak on the grill and having a nice cold Coors. Smoking briskets or ribs.
Favorite thing about the green industry: I Like to stay busy, being outdoors, problem solving, working with people, and like making a difference.
Favorite Plant: Columbine, because it is the state flower.
Hobbies: Working cattle, roping, enjoying time with the kids and granddaughter, and boating.
Hans has been in the green industry since 2011. Holding certifications in NDS drainage, non-potable water, chainsaw maintenance and safety, and a Colorado Master Gardener certificate has given him extensive knowledge to care for the City of Colorado Springs parks and open space. Hans is passionate about turf and snow management, but his real expertise is management of native grasses which he gained managing his ranch in Lamar, Colorado. Hans strives to help each client create something special that they can enjoy for years to come with the end goal of encouraging each of us to come alive outside. He is currently working on becoming a Landscape Industry Certified Lawn Care Manager through the National Association of Landscape Professionals.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: Being able to work to make it look nice and having the family enjoy the outdoor space we created together. On our time off we enjoy it with the kids playing, sports practice and family cookouts.

Paul has been in the landscape industry since 2001, beginning his career in the field, mowing grass and supervising crews, he is now an account manager for Timberline. He is a Landscape Industry Certified Technician through The National Association of Landscape Professionals, holding certifications in Turf Maintenance, Ornamental Maintenance, and Softscape Installation. Paul is a Qualified Supervisor through Colorado Department of Agriculture, holding licenses in Turf, Ornamental and Right of Way pest control. Paul has landscape experience locally and in Arizona where he spent some time in the landscape field. Paul enjoys landscaping, as well as spending time in the great outdoors with his friends and family. Paul is married to his wife Jessica and has 5 wonderful kids that also keep him busy on his time off.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: I like to have friends and family over for BBQs in the backyard. We have a smoker! So delicious. We also like yard games and have a great place to play with our dogs. I plan on starting a cut flower garden this year.
Favorite thing about the green industry: Creating living environments that are beautiful and intentional. I love so much more.
Favorite Plant: My favorite flower is the dahlia, my favorite shrub is a ninebark, and my favorite tree is an autumn blaze maple.

Pamela was born and raised in Colorado and stuck around. What’s not to love about this beautiful state? She has a Shepard mix named Iina, and her boyfriend Joshua has an English Bulldog named Stitch who looks ridiculous. Seriously ask to see a picture of Stitch. She loves animals and the outdoors, and traveling as much as possible. She enjoys visiting her brother and his family in Denver as much as possible and wishes she could visit her mom in Mexico more. Pamela misses living in Denver, but Colorado Springs is growing on her for sure. She has a bachelor’s degree in Advertising Design, and has worked in the green industry for over 10 years, and is afraid of heights, but will still muster up the courage to rappel a 100 ft drop.

Hobbies: I love to do anything outdoors that I can. Going out on the lake and riding ATVs in the mountains. Hunting during the fall/early winter. Then snowboarding during the summer.

During his early childhood Saul was raised in Mexico, and came to this country when he was 10 years old in the summer of 2002. Saul started working at Timberline Landscaping as a residential construction crew member in his adult life. He has have always been involved in the green industry. Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: For me to play with my children in the backyard. And then relax listening to my pond.
Favorite thing about the green industry: The most satisfying thing is to return to a project in 2-5 years and see how big the trees have grown. I like to be able to say, “I planted that tree”, and see that my work will be seen by other generations.
Favorite Plant: My favorite plants are the annabelle hydrangea and the Colorado blue spruce.
Hobbies: The one I like the most is playing soccer, but now at this stage of my life I enjoy taking a bike ride with my children.

My favorite thing about the green industry: Love showing my kids and family how I’ve helped do my part to keep Colorado Colorful for nearly 2 decades.
Favorite plant: I love the color and smell of the Russian Sage but am not a fan of all the bees.
Hobbies: Love building and upgrading rifles as well as I have had a long standing passion for extreme car audio and sound competitions.
Rubel is a Colorado native and went to Wasson HS. He has been in the landscape industry for 18 years. Rubel is a QWEL Certified irrigation auditor and registered Landscape Professional in the Town of Castle Rock.

Jack has 20 years’ experience in the Landscape Construction industry, and started at Timberline in 2009. Jack is a certified Irrigation Tech through the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). He also has a Softscape and Irrigation Certification through Landscape Industry Certified Technicians (LICT). Jack has an incredible skillset and knowledge base on all things irrigation. He has worked with Timberline Building Systems on the re-vamp of Panorama Park in Southeast Colorado Springs, along with projects for La Plata and the Events Center at the Broadmoor.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: Adventuring around my little piece of prairie heaven, enjoying the grasses, wildflowers, amazing clouds, stars and wildlife.
Favorite thing about the green industry: I love watching our projects progress transforming dirt into beautiful spaces.
Favorite plant: Sage! All varieties of sage.
Hobbies: Walking & playing with my Great Danes, cooking, riding sport quads and experiencing all the adventures life on 40 acres has to dish out.
Annie is new to the green industry and is enjoying all there is to learn about landscaping and irrigation installation.
Prior to Timberline, she worked in the environmental remediation and demolition industry for 20 years with various roles as project coordinator, project manager and estimator.
She has gone from tearing things down to creating beautiful outdoor spaces in our community.
Annie handles coordination of all commercial construction projects once the project is awarded through final paperwork with responsibilities including, but not limited to: assisting project manager, scheduling meetings, calling locates, creating/receipt of purchase orders, assists in invoicing, assists in project submittals as well as other project documentation.

Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: Smoking or grilling meat outdoors while looking at the beautiful mountains. Also just being in the mountains hiking, camping or skiing. The possibilities are endless and that is what I think is so neat.
Favorite thing about the green industry: Being outdoors and helping the community and the city beautify itself. It is very enjoyable to drive by and see all the hard work you and you team members put in on jobs.
Favorite plant: Japanese Elm I love the look and elm trees this one has some cool features. Very fond of trees.
Hobbies: Cooking Hiking, skiing etc. If it’s outdoors I am in. I am sports fanatic and just love playing any type of sports.
Shawn was always one to help with landscaping, as he loves the outdoors. So when he got the opportunity to jump in, he did. He knew the full-time office setting was not for him and the one of the biggest reasons is the WOW factor. Shawn enjoys helping and working on projects and seeing and hearing the client’s expressions on how they love the turnout. He’s been in the industry for about nine years – going on six with Timberline.

Hobbies: Camping with my family, golf with friends, ATV trail riding and standing in the stream with a fly rod
Kevin has always enjoyed just being outside and has had a curiosity in gardening. His first introduction to the green industry was working in a nursery in Wichita Kansas, harvesting trees, and landscape installation. It was a great feeling to be a part of creating an enjoyable space for others. From there, Kevin moved to Colorado Springs in 1982 and started a landscape maintenance company. 39 years later he still has the passion and enjoys every day.
