Our Process

Initial Meeting

A landscape designer will meet you on site to get a lay of the land and learn more about your wants and needs for your landscape.

Design & Estimate

Your dedicated landscape designer will determine the best approach to the design process and the steps to take to make your dreams a reality. You will receive a written estimate for your project.

Scheduling

Once your proposal is signed and deposit is submitted, we will schedule your project for installation. An approximate install date will be provided, with a firmer date given as construction approaches. Delays may occur due to weather and scope changes on other jobs.

Payment

Terms include 25% down at contract signing to hold a spot in line, 65% before schedule date, and remainder at completion. All major credit cards accepted.

Installation

Project Management

You will be teamed with a dedicated project superintendent during the installation process. They will ensure quality standards and timeliness of the project.

Utility Locates

Timberline will ensure that public utilities locates (water, gas, electric, cable) are completed prior to installation. Private locates (such as electric installed by homeowner, gas lines, satellite cables, dog fences, etc.) must be marked by the homeowner.

Making Changes

We understand that wants and needs may change during the installation process, and thats OK. We just ask that you contact the project superintendent or designer to receive an estimate of the change-order’s cost for your approval.

Our Presence

Our crews strive to work safely, effectively and keep a clean job site. Each day materials, equipment, and trash will be cleaned up and disposed of in a trash receptacle. You will find our crews are polite, helpful, incredibly efficient, and detail oriented.

Your Presence

It isn’t required for you to be home during the installation of your new project. We understand that landscaping processes can be exciting to watch come together, especially for children, and we encourage your family to observe from a safe distance. The only reason our crew would require access to your home is for installation of irrigation clocks and to gain access to plumbing and electrical. We do ask that pets are cleaned up after and kept inside during the install process.

Clean-Up

Your project isn’t complete until the final details are finished. After construction, we thoroughly clean the site, remove all construction-related materials, and inspect the work for quality and completeness. We then conduct a final walkthrough with you to review the project and ensure you’re comfortable with any new systems, features, or maintenance requirements.

Post Construction

WARRANTY

At Timberline Landscaping we stand behind the quality of our work. The majority of plant loss occurs during the first 60 days after planting. We supply a 60 day warranty to cover these losses on certain plants. If you would like to extend the warranty to 1 year for all plantings, a full maintenance contract must be entered into.

*Full warranty policy will be covered at contract signing to protect your investment.
