Favorite way to enjoy my outdoor space: Walking or hiking in the mountains, looking at nature, taking in the wonderful ways things grow or survive in rock crevasses, sides of cliffs or trees that have fallen over and still survived somehow and grew despite adversity.

Favorite thing about the green industry: The ability to create beautiful views, colors and textures that catch the eye of everyone and they say, “Wow!!! Look at this beautiful landscape!”

Favorite plant: Autumn purple ash and nine bark neon glow

Hobbies: Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking and ATV riding

Keith has been in the green industry for over 40 years. He used to mow and maintain yards as a kid for money from the neighbors and slowly started self-training myself to fix things on irrigation, plant, or enhance yards. Keith went into the food service industry as a teenager and after 15 years realized he wanted to work outside. He started his own landscaping company, did well but closed in 2001. Keith went back into food service for a while, hated it and returned to landscaping and never looked back.
